Lagos in the Algarve. The images give a brief view of from the highway on the bus trip from Lisbon, the city of Lagos, the rocky coast west of the city, the city itself, and the flatland on the east side.
The idea was to find modern Fado that I had never heard before. Google proposed a song by the Venezuelan Portuguese-Belgian Alex Figueira. I can’t say that it sounds like I imagine fado. But what do I know about modern fado? Anyhow, however, the instrumental piece ”Longe” by Figueira is so unique, rough and exciting that I’ll take it anyway, and maybe it will contribute to a pling on Spotify where he can be listened to.
